SECRETS OF ESTONIA 2013

Our latest secret project took us to our southern neighbor – Estonia. In summer 2013 we set on a journey to explore Estonian secrets. The journey took us from Tallinn to Rakvere, from Narva to Avinurme, Järvamaa, Mooste, Räpina, Voru, to Muhu island and more. We met with herb farmers, woodwork masters, wool spinners, toy makers and dress makers, among the many traditional manufacturers. After visiting each factory, and getting to know their manufacturing secrets, we designed new products based on each tradition.



The project is exhibited at the Estonian Museum Of Applied Art and Design (06.12.2013 to 23.02.2014).
Secrets of Estonia is produced in collaboration with the Finnish Institute in Estonia.
